Facebook blocks crowdfunding site for new movie on how abortion became legal in U.S.

January 18, 2018 – Exceptional talent from the worlds of Hollywood and pro-life activism have joined forces with the goal of producing a film chronicling the little-known true story behind the 1973 U.S. abortion ruling Roe v Wade. The social media giant has blocked access to the crowdfunding site. Pro-life activist Alveda King, niece of Martin Luther King, Jr., and seasoned actor/co-producer Nick Loeb, have already secured a commitment from famed actor Jon Voight to play a United States Supreme Court Justice in the movie. Loeb and others are exploring legal recourse to the Facebook blockade, which is preventing fundraising during the crucial first days after the movie has been announced.

Roe v Wade the Movie begins with founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger delivering a speech to the KKK, stating her intention to reduce the growth of the African American population. The movie shows how abortionist Dr. Bernard Nathanson and feminist Betty Friedan were enlisted in the effort, and how a poor girl with a 10th-grade education, Norma McCorvey, aka, Jane Roe, was manipulated as a pawn for the purposes of the abortion movement. Roe v Wade the Movie details how fake polls and fake statistics were fed to the media, and how Hollywood joined in the effort by producing movies and TV shows with pro-abortion themes. The film’s protagonist is Mildred Jefferson, the first African American woman to graduate from Harvard Medical School.

Co-producer Nick Loeb may seem as a surprise driving force behind this project, due to his long-standing court battle to protect two frozen embryos he created with former fiancée, actress Sofía Vergara, star of the popular Modern Family TV show. Regarding the problematic aspects of surrogacy, freezing embryos and the so far stalled attempts to bring his daughters to term, Loeb expressed regret but not despair or defeat. Roe v Wade the Movie is Loeb’s attempt to bring about a culture of life, where all unborn children, including his daughters, are born. Loeb suggested that if everyone who attends the March for Life in Washington, DC this week donates just $5, the project would be fully funded and production could proceed.

Alveda King Refutes Claim ‘Roe v. Wade’ Filmmakers Tricked Actors Into Starring in Pro-Life Film

As previously reported by The Christian Post, the Nick Loeb-directed film has encountered several obstacles. Although the cast includes famous Hollywood celebrities such as Jon Voight, Robert Davi, Corbin Bernsen, John Schneider and Stacey Dash, Loeb acknowledged in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that some actors had walked off the set and quit after finding out it would have a pro-life perspective. Following reports that some actors and crew members had quit working on the project, filmmakers were accused of having tricked the actors into being part of the movie by not disclosing the nature of the film. The niece of civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. went on to say that all of the criticism has actually helped further the publicity of the film.

King stars in the film as the mother of pro-life activist Mildred Fay Jefferson. The film is now approaching the end of production and King says she wholeheartedly supports its message. Loeb says the abortion-legalization movement was orchestrated around deception and it’s all historically established despite it being a little-known fact. During an interview on Fox News in March, Loeb said that even sites like Facebook have blocked their efforts to promote the film. Despite the setbacks, the filmmakers believe the timing of the film is perfect since the Roe v.

Wade decision has been in the news lately following Justice Anthony Kennedy’s retirement announcement. President Trump’s has nominated Judge Brett Kavanaugh to fill the vacancy on the Supreme Court. Many pro-abortion groups have claimed that a conservative court would overturn Roe. In a recent interview with CP, Pro-Life Action League Executive Director, Eric J. Scheidler, said claims that states would immediately ban abortion are exaggerated.
