Concerned Women for America
Join us on Saturday, June 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for a powerful time of prayer on behalf of minority babies being threatened by abortion and then a celebration of life. This is an anniversary that Concerned Women for America wished we’d never reached. That’s why CWA of Georgia is sponsoring a Human Rights Prayer Rally and Celebration.
This is based on CWA national’s campaign – 100 No More: Defeating Sanger’s Dream, a human rights prayer rallies on behalf of minority babies. We not only want to shine a light on the dark intentions of Planned Parenthood’s founder Margaret Sanger, we also want to celebrate the lives saved through our women’s crises pregnancy centers. We will leave Planned Parenthood at 10:55 a.m. and drive the short distance to the pregnancy center. There you will have an opportunity to hear from a representative of the center, interact with our speakers and enjoy some light refreshments.
Dr. Alveda King Counters Trump ‘Racism’ Claims, Slams Facebook for Blocking Pro-Life Message
There’s all other kind of legislation and things that President Trump is passing, including getting a lot of black folks out of jail – he’s working on doing that believe it or not and putting them back to work. Putting America back to work – African-Americans especially because our job rate or our hiring rate was so low and it’s going up along with everybody else’s rate. He sees Americans as the people he is supposed to serve and he’s doing that. Trump himself similarly dismissed the accusers, which included Rep. Lewis himself, earlier Sunday.
He cares about the plight of everybody who’s been under-served, mis-served, mistreated, and he’s equalizing that. King also expressed her frustration with tech giant Facebook, who recently blocked the pro-life Roe v. Wade documentary – on which she is collaborating with other activists – from raising funds from the social media site’s ads. Facebook later yielded to pressure and allowed the team to crowdfund.
Fox’s Alveda King Attacks Obama’s Selma Speech: ’55 Million Babies’ Have Been ‘Denied The Right To Vote’ Because Of Abortion
Hosting Alveda King for commentary all but guaranteed criticism. King, who was signed by Fox just in time to bash the speech, is well known to Fox as an Obama hater. You’d think she could have found something to like about Obama’s powerful speech. King, who was not at the Selma march, didn’t answer the question. She must have been too eager to launch into her abortion rant.
KING: I listened very intently to the president and to Congressman Lewis. I could almost see my father there, on that Edmund Pettus Bridge, on Bloody Sunday, with Congressman Lewis and so many others: Hosea Williams, James Orange. What the president did not say, there is a whole group of people – over 55 million – who have been denied the right to vote because they’ve been denied the right to live. What has changed in the last 50 years: 55 million babies have legally lost their lives by abortion. Yet the largest abortion provider, Planned Parenthood is getting $2 million from our tax dollars every day.

MLK’s Niece Alveda King Gets Fox News Gig
Outspoken conservative Alveda King, niece of slain civil rights icon, Martin Luther King Jr., is joining the staff of Fox News. She’s prominently anti-gay rights, anti-abortion and anti-divorce. She’s already contributed to Fox News in the past, but now she will join the network as a regular giving commentary during Fox’s daytime and prime-time programming. Alveda King has been on the campaign circuit for more than a decade pushing a discriminatory, anti-gay marriage, anti-abortion, hard right family values message. In 1998, she barnstormed the country speaking at rallies against gay rights legislation.
Alveda wasn’t the only King family member to stump for a hard right agenda in opposition to abortion and gay rights. Her cousin, Bernice King, MLK’s daughter, has preached the hell and damnation line against what she considers heathens. In her view, that’s liberals, progressives, feminists, gay rights advocates, and modern day civil rights leaders.
Alveda King Says Facebook Pulled Ads for Pro-Life ‘Roe v. Wade’ Movie That Features Jon Voight
Dr. King is one of the executive producers of the movie, which includes Hollywood actor Jon Voight. The fundraising website for the film can be viewed at Roevwademovie.com. Dr. King made her remarks during a special edition of Washington Watch with Tony Perkins, who is the president of the Family Research Council.
The live show on Tuesday was broadcast on the Facebook page of the FRC in honor of Religious Freedom Day. While discussing religious liberty in America and abroad, both Tony Perkins and Dr. King praised the power of social media to spread information and especially the Gospel. As Dr. King explained, social media is not as freedom-loving as one might think.
King was speaking about ads on Facebook about the Indiegogo fundraising the movie’s backers are promoting to help cover the costs of the film. There is a Facebook page for the movie but apparently ads for the fundraising were blocked.
